Carolyn is currently the Human Resource Manager of Heath Consultants Incorporated. Carolyn’s career at Heath began in the summer of 1986 while attending college where she worked in Canada and Massachusetts as a field technician.
In May of 1989, Carolyn graduated from Ithaca College with a BS Degree in Business and returned to Heath as a team member of the Marketing department.
During her tenure in Marketing she started up the 1-800 customer service number. In 1990 Carolyn was the first to complete the Heath Management Training Program. Upon completion of the program, Carolyn advanced to Manager of Industrial Relations which put her in charge of the Marketing Department.
In 2000, Carolyn was promoted to the position of Human Resource Manager, and focused on restructuring the department of two team member to six. Benefits, recruitment, supervisory and management training, new hire orientation, 401k, and workmans comp are some of the facets Carolyn oversees.
Since 2000, Carolyn has been an active member of The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) in an effort to stay on top of the changing world of HR. She attends seminars, held by SHRM and other HR professional organizations.
Carolyn also earned a certificate from Rice University in HR Professional Development. She is continually expanding her education, expertise and knowledge in the ever-broadening management role she currently holds.
In Carolyn’s spare time she enjoys spending time with family and attending her children’s extra curricular activities.
