On March 11, 2008, Earl Lamison, was doing scheduled meter reads in Johnstown, PA. He called a customer to gain entry to a house, and was told that the door would be left unlocked for him. He went into the house and heard glass breaking in the basement. As he was walking down the steps, he saw copper pipes laying on the floor, and then saw a person trying to climb out the window. He yelled at the guy to stop, and he grabbed his leg. He couldn't hold him so he called 911, and followed the guy on foot until the cops caught up with them. As he was running after the guy, he was giving a description to the police, and he also stayed at a safe distance. The police caught up with them and arrested the guy.
Later that day, he was flagged down by an elderly woman who couldn't get her car started. He stopped and helped her and continued with his busy day!
Thank you Earl for going above and beyond! Keep up the great work..and Be Safe!
